Another Place in Him - "Get Ready! Spring Forth (Upward)."

Recently, I was listening to the song ‘Another Place’ by Micah Stampley. Throughout the song, Micah’s background singers sing, “We’re in another place in Him…Another place in Him,” while Micah ad-libs His desires to the Lord to go deeper in Him so that he can enter higher to another dimension (or another place) he’s never been in the Lord.

Eventually, as I listened to the song, I began to think about how someone desires to go deeper into something so that they can spring upward in that thing. I’m not speaking of going or moving forward in this context, but going upward, specifically in this context, into the new things God is doing in this season.

It reminds me of a vision the Lord gave me earlier this year. I saw a woman standing in what resembled either a beach or desert. When there was a shaking in the earth, her physical flesh flopped to the ground; when her flesh flopped to the ground, her spirit (the Spirit of God within her) shot upward.

The Holy Ghost in this season is moving upward. He’s moving upward--prepared to take the saints higher, and when we, the people of God, are surrendered to His move – we go up with Him.

Isaiah 37:31 KJV says, “And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:

Before I go further, think about this for a moment.

When planting something new ( for example, let’s say a plant!), the ground is tilled (or prepared). The soil is tilled so that when the plant’s seed is planted, it is positioned to spring upward (or to grow, accordingly) in its due time.

Imagine us with the Lord in this season.

The Lord has been stretching us and tilling the ground throughout this year when we consider everything we’ve experienced this year, even as a nation. However, now is the time for what the Lord has been producing in us (corporately and individually) to come to pass. The world needs to see the witness of Christ residing in us (Matthew 5:16, KJV).

We are in our springing upward season; God has and is doing a new thing, and we’re getting ready to walk in the fruit of the tilling the Lord has done. In other words, we're in another place in Him.

Once He plants His seed, it will take NO TIME for it to spring forth (upward).

The Word of the Lord today is, “Prepare; get ready to spring forth (upward) in Me. This place you haven't seen before and are not used to, but trust the process in Me and trust that I order your steps, even if it is different or uncomfortable. Follow me in it; I am with you, I will cover you and I will shield you by my Spirit.” In Jesus' name. Amen.

God has made away with old systems and foundations so that what He has for His people in this season would come forth without hindrance.

We’ll see this example in John 15, KJV, where Jesus says:

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Pay attention to the fruit and plant imagery in the text here. As the husbandman, the Father takes away or cuts and purges. He cuts what isn’t bearing fruit and purges what is bearing fruit so that we can bear even more fruit.

This is the season for us to prepare ourselves to be taken even higher in the Lord. Yes, this means more sacrifice and obedience, deeper consecration, and commitment to the see the will of God come to pass--even unto death (whether it be physically or spiritually, our commitment has to be unto death). This is something of the heart posture that I a speaking of, but works. Your commitment in the season before this one would have set you up well to float and soar in this one as Christ, by His Spirit, leads and guides you.

If you weren't pressing into God in the previous season. There's still time for you. God is a God of forgiveness and He receives repentance. Repent and allow God to position you to receive what He's doing in this season; it's not works based so you can't make up for lost time, but allow Him to position you where you need to be in Him (in this season).

The Lord does not want us to try and achieve spiritual results by our flesh; we must submit, follow, and allow Him to keep us in afloat in what is HIS will for our lives in this season. In Jesus' name. He is able and He can do it.

Matthew 16:25 KJV says, "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."

It is the season for just that—no more games. No time to play around, no time to seek our own will but only time to follow Jesus in His.

Thank you, Jesus.

The well has been prepared and filled, the water is now ready to spring forth (upward - Isaiah 43:19, KJV) in overflow. Are you ready for overflow? Prepare for overflow.

It is in humility that I write these words to you.

Until next time, if the Lord stays the same,

Your sister,

LaGerrica 🌻
