"Be Encouraged."
Hi, Friends!
Today, I'm coming with a post that I pray would meet you wherever you are today...that you would know that the Lord is with you; He is leading you; He is guiding you...and oh, how does He care for you.
I simply want to say: be encouraged.
You know, so many times, life's circumstances can come and they can hit us pretty hard. We could become disappointed, fed-up, discouraged; we could feel lost, inadequate, unworthy...and honestly, just ready to give up; however, I want to caution you before you decide to do so. Instead, I encourage you to not give; I encourage you that your breakthrough is in your continuing on, even through the struggle. You see, as you gain more experience with the Lord, even through the struggle and disappointment, you'll find that the struggle won't always be there. One day, it will click and you won't have to walk through the struggle that you're walking in today in the same way tomorrow (figuratively speaking, not literally) because of the experience that you're gaining.
Keep walking through the tension. The tension of knowing that the Lord has better for you but it's not here yet; the tension of knowing that you want to walk in obedience to the Lord but can’t quite get it right; and it may get hard, and you may struggle. Hey, I get it but even still, keep walking. Because as you walk in the tension, you'll one day notice that you've learned from the struggle and that the Lord was there all entire time. The experience helps you to learn...it's not to your fault, it's growing you in your discernment, it's growing your character, it's maturing you...In other words, the experience you're gaining in the struggle today is equipping you for your tomorrows (I'm speaking figuratively, again).
Keep going, friend.
"And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. "

My prayer is that this post encourages you. I, myself, needed this reminder that the Lord is with me; He's leading and guiding me; He's walking with me, revealing His will and leading me in His way. That He hasn't given up on me and He never will.
