"Hold on...Carrying on in Grace."

I don’t come here with a post that’s put together or even with a post that necessarily has a theme…Maybe? We’ll see what the Holy Ghost does.

Anyway, today’s blog post is more so of the thoughts that are on my mind and for me to be able to share my heart and my journey (my today’s) with you in celebration of it being the 1stday of March. Anyways…Here we go!

What do you do when you’ve seen Grace, crashed it right in the face & even soaked in it during the most difficult seasons of your life and yet…Something new comes up and you’re reminded of what it means to be in the valley with God? Each valley with the Lord is different, you know? Some more tougher than others. Nevertheless, what do you do when you forget what it felt like to sit in grace while in the most difficult moment of your life? Even when you’ve seen God show up in the last season?

When you’re in a new season and God is trusting you to experience Him in a new way? I mean you’ve walked in seasons before where you’ve had to trust God for things unseen or even unexpected--you’ve had to believe God to see the other end of something you don’t even know to expect.But this one? This season? Feels much more different…This one is according to a new season, a new level that you haven’t been on—that you’ve never been on but soon will become familiar with. A new level of the game that you’ve NEVER experienced. What do you do?

*Insert LaGerrica’s advice here…*You hold on. You carry on in Grace…AKA you carry on with Jesus. You trust Him, pursue and seek peace (Psalm 34:14 NKJV), and trust in the name of the Lord. Even when you don’t know what to expect. Yep, you heard me right! It’s one thing to trust God to bring something that you can expect to come to pass…But what if you don’t know what you’re trusting God for? (Interesting, hunh?) The great thing is that while we’re trusting, our Father can give us exactly what we need even when we don’t know to expect it. He’s good like that, you know!

Anyway, when you don’t know you trust the finished work of Christ in your life here on earth onto perfection. You trust that He makes all things new. Like this month we just entered in is new (and God has a plan and purpose for this month)…we trust that even in our lives He redeems and makes all things new. Can I get an “AMEN?!” A LOUD one at that. The Lord is good; He is faithful and just to keep them in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3 NKJV). We don’t have to know what’s next but we DO have to keep our minds stayed on Him in the midst. We do have to remain faithful and loyal in the midst…we DO have to stand, even if standing looks like crawling—we MUST hold on. As we continue on in the faith the Lord will send a spiritual rope from heaven that our inner man will hold on to and receive life from. HOLD ON!

Like me, you may not know what’s next in your life today or even what you’re trusting God to do or produce in this season. But you know the one who does…You know the one who holds everything in His hands; therefore, you hold on. Don’t be discouraged, don’t be distressed, or casted down but trust the one who literally holds your life and salvation in His hands. I trust the God of my salvation…He will not leave me without help (Hebrews 13:6). The man is literally my HELPER! Can I get another “AMEN!” Praise Him, Saints! For He is worthy. Trust the one who does know and is making intercession to the Father on your behalf even when you don’t have any idea to what’s going on! Stand in the authority that Christ has given you at Calvary and protect what’s rightfully yours that the enemy of your soul, the Devil, wants to take (i.e., joy, peace, love…God’s love and whatever else that he is attacking).

Something else I want to encourage you with: fight with the Word in this season like no other…Sometimes we get in a test and neglect the Word as our weapon; use the Word (rightfully so!) as your weapon in this season! Armor yourself and be intentional! As the Lord is intentionally fighting your battle, fighting on your behalf, and praying for your victory (as He did for Peter) in this season. Obey & trust God…You won’t EVER regret doing so…there’s safety that’s found in obedience and trust to the Father. Here’s some scriptures that are encouraging me in this season—I pray they’d do the same for you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (NKJV): For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Psalm 29:11 (NKJV): The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

Psalm 85:10 (NKJV): Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.

Psalm 34:10 (NKJV): The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Psalm 34:14 (NKJV): Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.

Isaiah 32:17 (NKJV): The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV): You will keep him in perfect peace,Whose mind is stayed on You,Because he trusts in You.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV): Now may the God of peace Himself sanctifyyou completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (My prayer for you…for US!)

Micah 7:7 ( NKJV): Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.

Wait on Him and have faith that He HEARS you…He is responding to the cry of His child. Be encouraged by Psalm 18:6 NKJV which reads, “In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.”

I pray that today’s post blessed you & that the enemy got a slap in the face from the deliverance of the Lord that you and I have experienced from the encouragement of this post! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
